James Hall & Co recently launched a new Thaw and Serve food-to-go range and has now added a new line of cookies to the selection.

A three-strong cookie range, including Belgian Chocolate Chunk, Belgian Triple Chocolate Chunk and Belgian White Chocolate and Raspberry flavours, has been launched to complete the series, which also offers donuts and muffins.

All the products can be easily thawed in store, and have a shelf life of up to four days. The donuts and muffins have an RRP of £1 each, while the cookies retail at 79p each.

Since the introduction of the concept earlier this year, the Thaw and Serve range has gone from strength to strength, with some retailers selling up to 230 units per week per store.

Stuart Berry, James Hall’s Fresh Foods sales and development manager, says investing in the Thaw and Serve range is a way for retailers to grow profits. “Fresh products such as the Thaw and Serve range are what customers want, and have come to expect from their local convenience store. The range comes with a free display stand and point of sale material.”
