Ad campaign labels Fruittella a ‘Badman’s sweet’

Fruittella, the fastest growing chew sweet brand in the UK over the last three years, is the confectionery star in the new British urban comedy, Anuvahood.

The human star of the movie, a character called Kenneth, cannot get enough Fruittella and when his local independent store hasn’t got any left he asks the shopkeeper why he isn’t stocking the ‘badman’s sweet’.

The film’s soundtrack featuring hot tunes from Tinie Tempah, Boy Better Know, Wiley and Dizzee Rascal and a cast including Femi Oyeniran and Jaime Winstone.

Fruittella’s appearance in the film is just part of its continuing consumer support for the growing brand, which will include National TV, sampling and consumer pr activity.

David Leal, product manager for Fruittella says, “The makers of Anuvahood asked if Fruittella could supply samples for the premiere of the movie and we were happy to oblige.”
